Multimedia Design and Production

This course teach you how to use different media to tell a story, share news or entertain an audience. In the program, you learn about the technologies and software programs necessary to create visual and audio productions or designs. Production involves using or combining both audio and visual elements to complete a certain project. Examples of productions include commercials, shows, songs and plays. You also learn how to create different productions with the aid of computers and other technology.

Another focus of this course will be on designing different elements, which can be used in final production of a project. Computer skills are becoming increasingly necessary for designers in the modern world. You will learn how to use different software programs to create or edit designs. Visual designs are used in all types of productions ranging from posters and all the way to feature films. This course will teach you how to create and perfect designs for a whole range of productions. Because of the hands-on requirements, online degree programs in this field are rare.
